RENTAL APARTMENTS, FOR SHORT TERM

Rental apartments basically work like hotels but there is no breakfast and reception. So you need to arrange either with the rental office or your host at the Institute for getting the keys to your place.
As for the breakfast: all apartments have a kitchen or kitchenette (depending on size), so you can have breakfast there, or many of the surrounding cafes.

GENERAL RULES: the price includes the use of water, gas, electricity, heating, bed-linen, towels and the cleaning once a week.
Usually a minimum of 4 nights+3% tourist tax is required (the tax is waived for students). In case of shorter stays there is a supplement of 30 % charged upon only the first night.

Click here for apartments in Budapest center, most within walking distance of the Institute ("utca" means "street").

RENTAL APARTMENTS, FOR LONG TERM See the largest property database incorporating many others. Contact your host or Tiziana Del Viscio if you need help.

YOUTH HOSTEL: Ginkgo Youth Hostel very clean, safe just at the corner. Beds from 15 euros/night.
